First steps without a parent
How does adaptation work in our nursery?
Adaptation has no fixed schedule with us. Every child has their own pace and we respect it, without pressure and without comparison.
The most important thing is that the child feels safe, physically and emotionally. Step by step they get to know the new environment, find their place in it and get space for free exploration and play.
The guides observe the child carefully and at the right moment offer help, a hug or a word of support: “I'm here with you, we'll manage it.”

Our parents' experiences
From the very beginning we felt that we had chosen the right place for our son – a safe and loving space where he could grow as a person. We greatly appreciate Soňa's and Mirka's patient, respectful and attentive approach to the children. Thanks to them, our son's sensitive adaptation was calm and natural. We always felt that they listened to him and took his pace and needs into account. The fact that he looked forward to nursery every day is the best feedback for us. We also appreciate that they treated us parents as partners and we always looked together for the best ways to support our son. You can feel that they care about the children, not only as pupils but as personalities.
Lucia, Edy's mumMy husband and I are very grateful for the nursery and everyone's approach there. Special thanks to Sonička and Mirka for the adaptation, which Alex found harder, but I knew their approach was loving and everything was going as well as it could, and thanks to that we got through it all together. :) Alexko loves the nursery and looks forward to going there.
Lucia, Alexko's mumFirst of all, I have to say that we couldn't have chosen a better nursery. In the first weeks after starting, thanks to Sonička's and Mirka's loving approach, the adaptation process went excellently, and the time that followed at nursery was pleasantly educational and caring. My son is more sensitive, but he adapted excellently. Sonička and Mirka always knew how to respond and always resolved every situation, even a harder one… for example separation and the like, in the child's best interest. There is really a lot I could write, but this is just a fraction of the most important. Thank you very much!
Monika, Teo's mumThe Montessori nursery is a wonderful place for a little one's first time without a parent. The beautiful, prepared environment and the respectful approach of the teachers Mirka and Soňa guarantee that the child will develop their potential. The teachers are very kind, they help and cuddle, but they can also hold boundaries and guide children towards resolving conflicts safely. When our 2-year-old daughter stood up to her older sister: “Stop, I don't like that!”, instead of running to her parents in tears for help, we understood that nursery gives her more than we thought.
Lenka, Barborka's mumUntil now I've only been able to sing the praises of Iduška's nursery among friends. I'll repeat myself, but we couldn't have chosen better. Thanks to the Alma Ludico lessons and the playgroups, we got to know the environment and approaches our child will be guided by, and from the first day we have been handing her over to the loving guides with the greatest trust. We know she is cared for by professionals, but also with love, respect and warmth. We are very grateful that our child can grow up in exactly this environment. For us and for her, it is a safe place by the forest.
Kristína, Ida's mumWe were very happy with the nursery. If parents worry whether their little one will cope with joining a group without them, this nursery is the right place. Mirka and Soňa are very patient and friendly and treat the children kindly and with respect. The whole adaptation process was very sensitive and showed great consideration for the child. Our son liked going to nursery, learned a great deal here and tried things a child doesn't usually get to do at home (or that parents don't even think of). Being right next to the forest and spending time outdoors was a big benefit.

About us
Our story
“The aim of education and wisdom is for a person to see the clear path of life before them, to walk it carefully, to remember the past, know the present and foresee the future.”John Amos Comenius
Behind Montessori pod lesom is Klára Kulichová, the founder of Alma Ludico.
Since 2013, together with my team of instructors, I have had the opportunity to accompany more than 3,000 children, from tiny babies to little big ones who left us to go out into the world. From the beginning we knew we wanted to accompany them on their further journey of learning too.
For me, Montessori pedagogy is an approach that exactly matches how I see the role of both parent and teacher. This respectful approach has grown close to our hearts and we pass it on to our own children, to the children in the Alma Ludico program and to the children in our nursery, kindergarten and school.
For me, Montessori pod lesom is a dream come true and another step on the way to quality education led by the heart.
